Daughters of Mary-Tabora Visit Sept. 28-29

Join us to meet The Daughters of Mary-Tabora at St. Catherine of Siena Parish on September 28th and 29th. Please consider supporting their worthy cause through your donations.

The charism of the Congregation is love and service. Each member of the community engages in a variety of different activities such as health care, education, pastoral ministry, social work, and the development of women and youth in 8 Dioceses in Tanzania.

"Due to insufficient space in our current building, we have started to build a decent home with facilities and space to render good service for our elderly and infirm sisters. We need $500,000 to complete the construction of a new building. We aim to implement this project in five years, 2023 -2027. However, the urgent need is to purchase items to immediately help our elderly and bedridden sisters."

20 hospital beds: $1,500 each.

10 Hoyer hydraulic lifts to transfer bedridden sisters: $750 each

Special walk-in showers: $1,500 each

"Without proper equipment and facilities, it is almost impossible to move or bathe our sisters who are weak or in wheelchairs. Your financial support is highly appreciated to enable us to effectively meet the needs of our elderly and infirm sisters and will always be put to good use."

As St. John Paul II said, some become missionaries by going to the missions; others go by giving to the missions; without both, there are no missions. I invite you to be partners in the work of the Daughters of Mary, to make a difference in the lives of the elderly sisters who have made a difference in the lives of the suffering poor in Tanzania. Thank you for your support and prayers.
