General Information

Parish Registration:

A warm welcome is extended to new parishioners!  We invite all parishioners to register with the parish. If you are new to the parish, or if you regullarly attend Mass at our parish but have never formally registered as a parishioner, there are pre-registration forms available on the wall literature rack as you leave the church, or you may call the parish office at 302-633-4900.  Office hours are 9:00 AM to 3 PM Monday through Thursday and 9:00 AM to Noon on Friday.

Registration helps us and you in many ways.
First:  It helps to serve you when you need a letter in connection with sponsorship of Baptism, Confirmation or Matrimony. Baptism, Confirmation and Marriage are all sacraments which are taken very seriously. In order for you to receive a sacrament or play a role in someone else’s reception of a sacrament, you will need to have been an active parishioner. When someone is asked to be a godparent or to sponsor someone’s Confirmation, a letter of eligibility is required from our Parish testifying that the godparent or sponsor is an active parishioner.  This letter of eligibility is asking the pastor to sign and acknowledge that the person is at least 16 years of age, confirmed, attending Church regularly, celebrating the sacraments regularly, and, if married, married in the Catholic Church.
Second:  It helps the church identify who its members are to better assist them with spiritual and physical needs.

Our parish's school is All Saints Catholic School, located in Elsmere on the grounds of Corpus Christi Church, about 2 1/2 miles from our parish.  Along with three neighboring parishes we support it with its innovative S.T.E.M. program, and clear Catholic identity.

Blessing of Homes:  We love to do it.  smiley Just call the Parish Office at 633-4900

The "Dialog":  Our Diocesan Newspaper is available to everyone in the diocese.  We encourage your careful reading of this bi-weekly periodical to become familiar with our diocesan family and the larger church.  Copies of the Dialog will be available on the shelves between the doors as you leave the Church.  An announcement will be made each week the "Dialog" is available.

Prayer of the Faithful:  Please phone the Parish Office at 633-4900 to include the names of those who are ill or deceased in the prayer of the faithful at Mass.

Monthly Family Rosary:  Monthly devotion to our Blessed Mother every first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in Church.  All are welcomed.  A family that prays together stays together.

First Friday Communion Calls:  Those who are homebound, whether temporarily or permanently, are an important part of our parish family.  Let us know.  If you are entering the hospital or are confined to home, please call the parish office at 633-4900 and let us know.

Telephone Prayer Chain:  For prayer requests please call the parish office at 633-4900.

Deaf or Hard of Hearing:  Contact the parish office through e-mail  stcathwilm@comcast.net or video relay for a more prompt response.

Divorced and Remarried Catholics:  The Church has a special compassion for those who have experienced the trauma of divorce.  If you are divorced, you have a right to the annulment process which can determine whether or not you are free to marry or re-marry in the Church.  Since there is a great deal of misinformation circulating about the annulment process, an Advocate program has been established in the diocese to explain to you just what an annulment is and how you are to proceed through the annulment process.  If you or a loved one needs advice regarding how to seek an annulment and wish to learn what is required, contact the Marriage Tribunal at 573-3107.  An Advocate from the Marriage Tribunal Office will be provided to explain the process and assist you.
