Social Concerns
The purpose of the Social Concerns Committee is to inform and involve people and resources of the parish in service to one another and to the community at large. The Committee must be willing to include in its concerns: social, economic, racial problems, injustice, human rights, and the immediate needs of persons in distress. It is to assess and meet the needs of people both within the parish and those in the larger community, particularly within our parish boundaries. The thrust of the committee is to include larger issues of socio economic problems, and human rights, as well as meet the immediate needs of persons in distress.
